My practice forms an exploration of drawing in space; communicating observations of the world around me, I allow opportunities for unforeseen encounters and encourage a different way of looking.

A preoccupation with natures undervalued and disregarded provokes playful disruptions of surface and environment.

Work evolves as the drawn mark and stitched form invade, colonise and grow. The flat plane is transformed as the smudges, lines, knots and loops of graphite and wool accumulate and investigate.

In recognition of the ignored and misunderstood, I find wonder in natures invisible and insignificant. Prompting intrigue, I invite a glance, tempt a look and call for a gaze.
